The coastline has a way of telling stories—some joyful, some heartbreaking, and some just plain strange. During my regular beach cleans, I come across all sorts of objects washed ashore by the tides. Some are natural treasures gifted by the sea; others are manmade, forgotten, or discarded—but each one has a tale to tell.
This page is a home for those finds. From sea-worn bones and tangled rope to fragments of pottery and weathered plastics, I document what turns up beneath my boots. Some are turned into artwork, some into curiosities for display, and others serve as reminders of the growing impact we’re having on our oceans.
Every piece I share here has been cleaned and collected with care—often during beach foraging sessions or clean-ups right here on the Isle of Sheppey. I hope these finds spark curiosity, conversations, and maybe even a bit of creative inspiration.
